Why Bowen Therapy?
Whether you are as “fit as a fiddle”, “injured”, “looking for that competitive edge” or interested in “routine preventative maintenance”, Bowen Therapy can help complement, improve and maintain your life and health. More about Bowen Therapy.
What Clients Say About Bowen Therapy…
Clients often report rapid improvement after accidents/injury and progression in cases of chronic pain. Routine maintenance clients commonly state they feel like everything is back in shape. The Bowen therapy unique modality assists the body in healing and often sparks surprising and unexpected results, where nothing else has been successful.
"I just want to let you know that you have our house excited.
First, the other night when I turned off the television to go to bed, I could notice the difference in the light in the room. I have been blind since I woke up from a 6 month long coma in 2005. I called for my mom and dad to share the good news. They turned the TV ON and OFF to verify. Then my mom turned the light switch ON and OFF and I could tell when the light was ON and when it was off.
Second, I have not been able to support myself standing up unassisted since 2005. I have not been able to control the muscles of my legs and hips. This last physical therapy session, I was able to stand by myself unassisted. Wow! I am thrilled.
Third, since my coma I have not been able to lose weight. My body has not been able to control and/or regulate my body temperature. As a result, I have not been able to sweat or lose weight. But since I received the therapy you gave me…I have been able to sweat.
These might seem like little things to you…but in my house…these things have us very excited!!!"
Thank you. Yassmina
“Life can be extremely busy and stressful. Through the hustle and bustle we often do not set aside time to take care of ourselves and consequently our bodies suffer. . . . . We might even develop areas of pain, restriction of movement or even worse. Why not give Bowen a try? What have you got to lose? Take your life and health seriously today, seize the moment!”
Benefits of Bowen Therapy
History of Bowen Therapy
What do I wear?
Loose comfortable clothing for your bowen therapy session. In order to be effective in the technique, therapists must be able to feel the muscles and be able to work through the clothing. Therefore heavy thick clothing such as jeans, khakis, etc. is not advised, nor are nylons. Appropriate clothing such as gym shorts, t-shirts, leggings, etc. are preferable.
